DNS Setup Guide

Already on Cloudflare

Takes about 5 minutes — you only do this once.

Heads up: Since your domain is already on Cloudflare, you don't need to change nameservers. We just need to add two DNS records to point your domain to your new site.
1

Go to dash.cloudflare.com and sign in.

2

Select your domain

Click your domain name from the dashboard.

3

Open DNS Records

Click DNS in the left sidebar, then Records.

4

Add first record

Click Add record. Set Type to CNAME, Name to @, and Target to the value from your MachSites setup email.

5

Add second record

Click Add record again. Same settings — Type CNAME, Name www, same Target.

6

Save both

Click Save after each. Your domain will point to the new site within minutes.

Good to know: If you see an existing A record or CNAME for @ or www, delete those first — conflicting records will prevent the new site from loading.

After you save

DNS changes typically propagate within 1–4 hours, sometimes faster. Once your domain is live, we'll send a confirmation and your client portal will activate.

Hit a snag? Just reply to your setup email — we'll sort it out.
